Hear me out, I put in my resume on Tuesday, got a call from Jerell on Wednesday, and literally got hired today on Friday. The professionalism, the effort, and the efficiency simply can not be topped! Usually I hear from recruiters once and never hear back. That was definitely not the case here. If you're serious about getting a new job and having options, I highly recommend you work with the recruiters at ProMed.

As a first-time travel nurse, I expected my experience with Promed Staffing to be guided by professionalism, transparency, and support. Unfortunately, my interaction with Yolanda Camarena left me disappointed and disheartened.
Yolanda pressured me into selecting Promed as my staffing agency, preying on my lack of knowledge as a first-time traveler. Instead of providing clear guidance or explaining my options, I was made to feel like Promed was my only choice, leaving me without the opportunity to explore other agencies better suited to my needs.
Once I committed, the lack of communication was shocking. Yolanda completely ghosted me, providing no updates or follow-ups whatsoever. This left me feeling abandoned and unsupported during a critical time when I was navigating a new career path. Her unprofessionalism not only created unnecessary stress but also tarnished my first experience as a travel nurse.
I wouldn’t recommend Yolanda to other travel nurses, especially those new to the field. Trust and communication are critical in this industry, and unfortunately, my experience with Promed fell far short of those expectations, especially with the reviews they garnered, I believe it was unfortunately Yolanda that made the experience with Promed what it was, not Promed itself.
Please be cautious of this name moving forward!

They are no good in areas where it truly counts. Money is good but their professionalism in the office and problem solving skills are terrible. Over two years of working with them with no issues EVER and I reported what NEEDED TO BE reported and instead of investigating THEY TERMINATED ME. Update: facility called me to hire me on with them after an investigation was done by them that resulted an employee going to jail for abusing resident. It was unfair to be terminated for caring and doing my job and I deserve answers and possible compensation for wrongful termination.

Jorell Rivera is a wondering recruiter. He is very positive and quick with results. He listens and try’s to understand what you would need in order to get a nice contract. I never care to give reviews but my best recruiting experience is with this agency. Hands down!! Mariela Garcia, by far is THE ABSOLUTE BEST recruiter I’ve ever had. So prompt. Professional. On point. That is how a recruiter is supposed to be. She gives a damn about me and I can’t say that about a lot of agencies that I’ve dealt with. I would refer her to any other nurse 1000000%!!!!!

We use ProMed for all types of openings — non clinical, administrative and nursing. They have quick turnaround time and the quality of their candidates is equal to our own internal staff. They have bailed us out on several occasions when we have had staff call in on short notice. They have a call center that is open after hours which is a real plus.
After working with another agency for a of couple months with no success I signed up with ProMed Workforce Solutions. In less than 48 hours I got a interview and a offer at the hospital I wanted. The manager said that after looking at my profile that showed my years of experience, she was impressed with my resume and offered me the job.
